My wife's "new" truck.
After much frustration dealing with the computer controlled 95 jimmy my wife informs me that she is done with it and wants a pre computer/pre smog truck. After looking around she found this gem and we picked it up tonight. Drove it home a short 35 mile jaunt, it rode rock solid without wandering and no weird behavior of any kind. It did however have a creative "cure" for a failed headlight switch, a motor control switch from a machine attached to the radiator support. It worked to get us home, it's coming off tomorrow! Very nice! Looks super clean. I would rather roll that as opposed to a "new" truck any day.

Man, I love an unmolested truck. We're going through a phase right now that's similar to what the 55-57 Chevy cars endured in the 70's. Everybody was chopping them up and rodding them, and the ones what got left alone turned into solid gold investments.
Not 'bashing' here - I'd never tell anyone what to do or not do to their own dang vehicles, just opinionatin'. Beautiful truck! |

That is one beautiful truck. Mine has the radio spot in the dash cut for a square radio and now I'll have to fix it. I too prefer original or slightly modified vehicles. I don't like cutting up classics but I do have a chop top '81 Monte Carlo. Guess I don't consider that a classic.
 You and your wife enjoy the ride brother.

Update: The headlight problem was a bad hi/lo switch.
