CA Restored 69-72 Console - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a very nice restored 69-72 console for sale. It is an original black console that was cleaned, stripped, and refinished in satin black (I believe OEM correct). There were three small holes in the front (I imagine from a CB) that I epoxied, and those were the only repairs I made. The console has no cracks, floor is solid and perfect, and it shows normal wear on the outside from seatbelts rubbing, arm resting, etc. Most wear will not be seen when it is installed. The original chrome ring was discolored, as well as the seatbelt bezel...and rechroming was cost prohibitive in my opinion, so I decided to sand them down, prime them, paint them in gloss silver, and clearcoat. They came out very nice. The ashtray is original, shiny, no pitting, but normal fine scratching that occurs. The emblem has no pitting, and the blue bowtie was repainted. I used new stainless steel hardware for re-assembly. I also used new rubber bumpers, and it shuts nice and solid, no rattles.

Thanks Rene. Pics do not do it justice. The silver trim and bezel look like they have been powdercoated. It would be perfect for a Raiders fan

I got them from LMC, page 50 of their catalog I believe. I see you are local! If you are interested in the console, it is priced substancially less for local pick-up.
