First Pis is... What it was.
Second is what it is.

I have plans upon plans for this thing. I am leaving it in a .... Light duty kinda way. This is so I can know the limits of the rig and keep my self from doing things that the rig is simply not capable of. Later once i have stopped breaking light duty stuff then I can upgrade to tons and ?? Who knows !!

The motor is a 6.2 diesel, "yes I know you guys would run a Cummins" but I have a friend with a 6.2 and on a doubler it will do juuust fine. The tranny is a SM465 Manual, 32 Spline NP203 and a 31 Spline NP205 Doubler set up. I ammaking my own doubler adapter and I have included pics.

That rig has been around a few times. It belonged to another buddy before Jason built it the first time. Then he rebuilt it a couple times and sold to a buddy, that he later bought it back from. Dizzy yet?

Here's some inspiration on that doubler adapter. Haha

Tell me those aren't beautiful welds, first pass on 3/4" plate?

Yeah,Nathan is a welding fool! That new welder of Jason's made it that much easier. Hell, how many people do you know that can arc weld just as good as he does with a mig? It doesn't matter what machine you give him, it will turn out top notch. I'm just glad we have access to all those CNC machines and all the lathes. Out tollerances used to be whatever a mig could fill. Not so much anymore, very often anyways. Haha

Whoa, look at all those wires!!! This will be fun and with the severly choked BB, it wont be as hard on shafts as you may think. Trust your spotters, keep from getting wedged and refrain from "bumping it".
Normally, the next sound after that is bang or pop followed by choice words and "get the winch". Once we get you on the trail, you will be hooked for life. The gilmer trip could rightly do it too, with camping in a secluded area and riding along to see some real action.
You'll get to see how Buster got his original full-name name Bunker Buster.

I can't wait till we get to adding in some braces, tube work and whatever other changes you want to make.

Re: My first Crawler Build 79 Short bed ... Almost still Chevy !!

Glad to see you making progress man! I hope you can make it to Bridgeport with us next month so we can get you good and hooked on crawling! Plus it'll be Buster's final outing and I want to make it a memorable one. It hasn't been on it's lid once, all these years, I can't say I haven't tried, but Bport is the closest I've come.
