anyone every heard of a fuel pressure switch on a fuel pump?

Just replaced the fuel pump and it worked great for few days. But now it wont start again. My grandfather who owns the truck said that the pressure switch on the pump may be going out. Never seen one.

There's an oil pressure switch on the engine that will kill the pump after the truck is running if you loose oil pressure, but that is bypassed when you're cranking it.

Jump the relay to see if the pump runs
