Tires, wheels and caps for a K20
Ive decided to retire my 71 K20. I love this truck, but seldom drive it. I was thinking I must have put at least a few thousand miles on her since she became mine. But then I got to really thinking about it. I believe its actually less than 1000 miles. Ninety nine percent of the driving is right here in town. I installed a tac, vac gauge cluster I got from a board member a little while after I got her so I have no real way of getting the actual mileage. The odometer part of the gauge cluster doesnt work right (never tried to figure it out, probably dont have the cable screwed in correctly).
So before I find a deep dark spot in the barn to put her away I thought I would see if any of the local guys had an interest in the tires, wheels and caps as a package deal. Tires are 33 x 12.5 x 16.5 BFG All Terrain, still have all the little nubs, under 1000 miles on them. I believe the wheels are 8.25 inches wide. I had them sand blasted, then had a guy prime and paint them. I got the caps from a board member. I tin snipped out the front centers. Yes they are a bit jagged, but if a person wanted to take the time he or she could dremmel them smooth. Im in to this package of tires, wheels and caps over 1100 bucks. If any local guys have an interest I will take 780 bucks firm. I have two rollers already for when it goes in to storage, so just need to scrounge up a couple of more. I may even have some in the barn, just need to check. No trades, no shipping, package deal only sorry =(. If no one wants them, Ill try (ugh) Craigslist. Only semi close up pic I could find on the computer

Re: Tires, wheels and caps for a K20
Basically my truck is getting pretty tired. I have other projects I would rather put my limited play money in to right now. I have no idea how long the truck will sit covered up in the barn. Those are expensive tires to have rot away from lack of use. I think its a real fair deal for someone that needs new rubber and wants a little bit of a stockish, but burly look for their K20.

Re: Tires, wheels and caps for a K20
Had a couple of enquieries on purchasing the whole truck. Its one of those deals where the money I would need to get out of her is more than she is probably worth. I don't want any hard feelings if someone gave me 5k thinking they were getting some awesome deal, and it really didn't live up to their expectations. So its easier just to put her in storage and put a beautiful blue plastic tarp over her.
TTT for a sweet deal on some cool tires and wheels.

How far are you from Coeur d Alene ID?(about 16 miles east of WA border on I90) I can probably come up with a couple of rollers.
