Question Horn Button Fitment Issue.

So here is my issue, I purchased a new reproduction steering wheel off of eBay but I'm don't know who the manufacture is. The seller only had the wheel and not the horn button so I purchased a horn button made by Counterparts. Problem is that the horn button is to small. Anyone have any experience with this issue?

Here are a few pics that may help...

Re: Horn Button Fitment Issue.

After looking at some pics of other wheels I am beginning to think the gap is normal and I am just to damn picky... no surprise.
What do you guys think?

Re: Horn Button Fitment Issue.

I used an OEM horn button on a repro wheel and it fit better than that.

Re: Horn Button Fitment Issue.

It does seem a bit much but it has been such a long time since I have even looked closely at an oem wheel and button that I can't remember what it is supposed to look like.

Re: Horn Button Fitment Issue.

I agree with SK. I would buy an oem cap off of the parts board for cheaps and restore it, black is easy to match.

Re: Horn Button Fitment Issue.

It doesn't look awful, but try what Zepp said if it bugs you. Word of caution: Don't spend a lot of time looking at it while driving or you'll have more obvious fitment issues with much more costly parts. Maybe some of your own
