Re: Airbag ?s

Drop spindles yes, block maybe, it really depends on what you want to do, a 4/6 is a nice stance but not dragging. if you want to lay frame, you will need LCA's, notch, spindles, bags, compressor, lines, management, etc....probably well into $3K.

Drop spindles around 300
Bags around 300 each end (fr/bk)
Management 4-800 depending on what you want.

First I would decide what you want, what is your plan. The give the vendors here a call and see what they recommend to achieve your goal. break out the CC and have fun!

You won't lay frame with this set-up.
You WILL lay out on the lower a-arm cross shafts.

The front needs to be "Z'd" or better yet,... use an aftermarket crossmember like the Porterbuilt Fabrication Dropmember.
The rear will require a step notch with a modified rear suspension.
(4-link or 3-link or 2-link)
Porterbult makes a kit that will lay out on trailing arms for 60-72 trucks.

What year truck are you working on?

Re: Airbag ?s

This is an example of a frame that "lays out".
Porterbuilt Dropmember, RideTech a-arms, and a Porterbuilt rear 4-link.

This isn't my truck.
It use to belong to member n2billet.

I would do a google search for "Z'd" frames or "Z'd C10".
There is alot of info on the internet.

You can also look at the Projects and Builds sections here.
This truck has a Z'd frame:

Just remember Z'ing the frame "snowballs" into many other necessary modifications.
Do some research first,... before you start cutting.

4.5/6 Drop.

2) spindles,notch,blocks,springs
5.5/7.5" Drop

3) And how low can i get with bags?
A couple inches lower.

See above^^^.
Mild bagged trucks need all the same stuff as extreme static dropped trucks.
Drop spindles, drop shocks, rear shock relocators, and an adjustable panhard bar.

Look in the Projects and Builds section and find a truck that sits like you like.

Re: Airbag ?s

My truck is bagged all around. I also have dropped spindles, and cut my front bag cups. Out back I have c notch and 2 inch lowering blocks. Adjustable pan hard bar, no cups. Truck doesnt lay out.

You could also cup the lower control arms and then the front crossmember should lay or come very close to it. Do a search om this forum on cupped lca's Hope this helps.
