1985 Chevy Silverado Build
I have recently purchase a 1985 Chevy Silverado Shortbed. The truck is not in bad shape right now. The body is in really good condition. It has a 350 Crate motor, new dual exhaust, new tires, and a lot of work done to the wheels (springs, bushings, shocks, and more). I am currently going to be working on the interior and go from there. The engine only has 67K miles on it so I will save that for last

Re: 1985 Chevy Silverado Build
truck looks nice. it has the typical GM seat issue tho.. are you going to leave the interior beige or will you change the color?

Re: 1985 Chevy Silverado Build
I debated over this all week before I started making purchases and the end result was to go back with beige. Ive always had black or grey interior and since this was the original interior color why not go back with it.

Re: 1985 Chevy Silverado Build
Glad you're leaving the stock color interior. Beige gives it a classy look. Super nice truck too!

Now I was able to get the carpet laid down. Still got some work to do. I also added a pic of my first wash on the truck.

Re: 1985 Chevy Silverado Build
Well I have been away for a little... again but I wanted to show you guys the new upholster seat! Man it was worth the wait and it only costed me $250 bucks.
I am using LMC truck site to get my interior stuff from. http://www.lmctruck.com/ Hope I have the time tomorrow to put that bad boy in and I will take another pic.
