Tonight going to Work!!!

Was driving down the road and hear BOOM, I was like wtf...Well I didn't have no power sterring so pulled over, My damn whole fan, pulley and all went into my radiator, the 3 inch shaft that attaches with the 4 bolts to the water pump broke off..Never seen that happen...Anyone??

Yeah I had a similar incident some years back. I had my head under the hood looking around for a vibration and found it when the fan assembly came off and spun around in the shroud a few times ripping into the radiator as it went. I moved pretty quick.
In my case the flange that the pulley and fan bolt to came off the water pump shaft. They are pressed on.

Yeah that's what I meant, that four bolt flange popped off, Sucked I just put a new radiator in there 4 months ago to boot...I did notice the new water pump I bought, looks like it has a steel ring in there to hold that flange in now...Crazy day..

Wow crazy I have never had it happen to me. That would have scared the crap out of me if I had the hood up haha!

Do not put a cheap china made radiator in, you will be sorry if you do. I have a thread in the 99-2007 section.
