1972 2wd short bed

Curious if anybody out there may know the value of the following. Rust free (truck originally sold and stayed in central oregon high desert) a/c '72 cab. It has shaved rain drip rails, smoothed firewall. Its been stripped out and close to being ready for paint. Front clip is fitted with cab and also ready for paid. Cab and front clip are sitting on rolling chassis. Frame has had the front bumper mounts cut for a roll pan install. Rear bed sides need a little work. No bed floor. Early Classics lowering components installed.

All including drop spindles ( disc brakes ).
4.10 differential, complete roller.
Two bolt patterns on the rotors and rear axles 5 on 5 and 4.5 on 5.
Nice sheet metal & interior parts.
No motor/trans/radiator/steering column/instruments.

Also a brand new in the box Vintage Air that could be installed in this project or yours.

Not sure on value in your area...seems there's a million of our generation of trucks up there on craigslist In VA I'd say 2500-3K....it's worth a lot more than that but right now projects are bringing next to nothing. Will definitely part out for more...

The shaved cab is a plus to me, but a negative to the majority of people looking from my experience...

The shaved cab is a plus to me as well. The guy that did it said you couldn't pay him $5,000 to shave another drip rail. Imagine the time and cost to shave the rail off an old burb.

Any idea on the Vintage Air... any market out there on that?

what unit? There is definitely a market for it new in box with all the parts...

On the cab, I sold mine after almost a year of having it...shaved driprail and completely shaved/balanced firewall...got 1/2 of what I thought I would for it.

Looks like it runs 625 from summit....probably can get 4-500 for it since it's new but w/out the warranty.

Dang summit. This thing cost a grand. I guess thats the economy that we live in now days. I may just hold onto the Air then.

The part number you had was just the evaporator kit...there are other kits that are 1000-1200 depending on what all comes with it...

posted some more pictures of the underside of the cab, and some more of the vintage air. the vintage air comes with compressor, condenser, ect... new in the box never installed.

Are you sure on the vintage air part number? Since it has the condenser and compressor I think your kit obviously is the 1000-1200 kit but the part number is for the evaporator kit only so that's why it comes back as 625 from summit...

Maybe I'm wrong on the model number. But it comes complete less the a/c dash controller. (V/A sells original style controller, and a digital style controller. Or you can use your stock one.)
