78 Camaro & electrical question

I have a problem with my girfriend's 78 camaro. With the head lights on, if the right turn signal is on the signal lights up and the brake light flashes too, and when I step on the brakes, the reverse light comes on.

I'm kinda baffled on this one. I've checked the wiring all the way up to under the kick panel and it all looks good. I checked things with my volt meter thinking I had a bad ground in the trunk, but that's when I found another wire getting power (can't remember which one right now). Am I thinking correctly that it might be in the headlight switch? Or could it be in the fuse block? Has any one had a problem like this before?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Re: 78 Camaro & electrical question

It's probably the turn signal switch.

Check the wires in the column also . My 77 did the same thing and the ribbon wires were melted.
