How much for 700r4 for 4x4?

I have access to a 700r4 out of an 86? 4x4. I was told it was in good working order when pulled. Since I can't (don't know how) verify it's condition what would it be worth as a core.

Well around here they usually bring $100 as a core in the 4x4 form. When I buy cores I always check the condition of the oil to see if it is burnt, if it's not you have real good odds of it being a real good buildable core. And if it has a convertor on it, check the hub to see if there is a groove from the pump bushing, if there is that's a good indicator it has been run hot more than once.
