Under Dash Harnesses
I have two very nice underdsah Harnesses, One is from an automatic. It has the two plugs for the neutrl safety switch and reverse lights Not sure if it was in a guagew or dummy lights truck. The second is from a 1971 GMC 4 speed truck with guages. Both are very clean. $125 each shipped

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
Would the 71 work in a 68 K20 std?

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
I'm not sure. The 67 and 68 fuse blocks are mounted a quarter turn differently. They are the same in everyway, Ithink, except for how they are mounted.
Does anyone else out there know? |

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
I think the plug for the dash gauges is setup different due if you have dummy lights....but it can be reconfigured using GMC Paul's FAQ for changing the wiring into the plug...easy to do....
not sure on K20 either though

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
The 71 , 4 speed harness, is a guages harness.
A harness is made to make it a dumby lights setup? |

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
re: the manual harness
1) should be the same for a 72 blazer ?? 2) are there any cut/broken wires or missing connectors?

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
If you buy it, hold your old harness side by side and compare each wire, should be the same, but not totally sure, until you compare
Thanks kevy, just got the delivery confirmation number

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
tjsblazer
I'm not positive about the blazer differences but I would think they would be the same. Is your truck a manual transmission? This harness is for a manual with guages. It is super clean, no issues. |

Re: Under Dash Harnesses
It is currently an Auto but I'm collecting parts to convert it to manual. Going to try to find a little more info.
