LOL,, we'll see about that!

hmmm to the rear wheels............ We know a little bit about the motor,, and nothing about the drivetrain.

I'm going to be a bit conservative I'm sure, 385 to the wheels

Re: taking the old truck to the dyno

The one on 89th and i35. I would hope for closer to 500 but no idea. Truck did run a 11.37 with no tunning what so ever, and the truck weight was 4100 lbs. and a slight head wind, wrong gears and some other excuses lol... Has a turbo 400 and a 3800 stall and 3:73 gears aluminum driveshaft. I believe if i didn't have it set up for nitrous and had some 4:56 gears and a 4500 stall converter and some drag shocks so it would hook, it might dip in the high 10's.

Re: taking the old truck to the dyno

At 3,525lbs, 402rwhp with the converter unlocked (which would be more equal to a th400) I went 11.45 with 4.56's and a 4,500rpm verter.

So with your extra 600lbs, I would guess more like 472rwhp..

But then again, my motor was only 347ci. I'm guessing you have 100ci on it, so perhaps it will be a little heavier on TQ and less HP due to RPM..

Re: taking the old truck to the dyno

I say 492 to the wheels. How much does it cost per pull if you dont mind me asking? If it's not too expensive I might show up with mine.

Re: taking the old truck to the dyno

I would say the motor puts up just above 600hp @ fly wheel. Hard to guess with out knowing converter slippage. Guessing 515 @ wheels with 18% loss.
Let the good time rip.
