I've never use these guys personally but have gotten a few quotes from them and their prices seem pretty reasonable and they are honest. http://www.usaautotransport.com/

Re: 68 Gmc burb transport
I was high bid at 3150.00 and maxed at 3490 or something but never hit the reserve. I gues his reserve was 5000.00 and that was more than I was willing to pay. If I would have really wanted that Burb you or me would have paid a lot more to get it. I talked to the seller too and he sounded like ageuine nice who told it like it is. Anyway good luck with the Burb and yoiu have the best site on the net for info, ideas and making buds.

Re: 68 Gmc burb transport
sorry if my guestimate was confusing...he quoted that to me for shipping from Oregon to NC...obviously alot further to go....I'd still get a second opinion just for kicks

Re: 68 Gmc burb transport
I did get another couple quotes and got another at 950 but he couldn't ship for a couple months! I gotta drive it well before that because snow will fly here by then. Another quote at 1150 and he tried to pressure me even after I told him I had a 950 quote! So I signed with USAautransort. I'll advise on my experince with them and get pictures up when she's here. Can't wait, now I can actually drive further distances than I can in my '48! Rocker repair over the winter though.

Re: 68 Gmc burb transport
Well the '68 arrived today from it's long trek from Seattle to Illinois. I'm pleased with the burb. It's a neat original burb that even has the original dealers stick on the rear tailgate. The only complaint with the shipper was that they actually wanted to pick up the vehcile too soon! What are the chances of that? Got to drive it a little, still need plates and insurance but that didn't stop me. Would have loved to spent more time with it today but took my wife out for her birthday. Now she wants this burb for her present (no way!) I'll get pictures posted in the next few days.
