converting grilles
What is involved in putting a 1970 grille on a 1971 or 1972 Blazer? I'm guessing it's as simple as buying and bolting in the 1970 inner and outer grilles. Is there anything more involved? Thanks.

The hood latch mechinisim also needs swapped. Other wise it'll stick out too far and you'll have to break out part of your grill to bolt it all up, but the fenders and rad support all swap out good 69 - 72.

There is a metal support on the outer back edges of the 70 grill that you will need, and also a center support for reinforcement.

I don't know why you would want to go with the 70 grille.
Most guys are converting the other way...?

Thanks for the info guys. I like the looks of the 69/70 front end, just looks a bit cleaner and more "classic" to me. To each his own I guess.
