autometer guage question?

got a new pro comp oil pressure guage thats reading 100lbs. wondering if its messed up or maybe its something initial. old autometer read about 50lbs when first started. its an electric guage.

New days bring good results. Somewhere I guess the sender wire was messed up somehow. I replaced it and its fine now.
