Lens and bezel are molded as one, they screw onto lamp capsule which is then pushed into hole in hood held on by pressure clips on side of capsule. You can find these lenses on ebay, lmc, etc. They make them in amber and clear, the clear ones have a chrome outline giving them a bezel effect.

I beg to differ, LMC offers replacements lenses and when recieved they include rivets to attach them to the light housing, (the rivets are not correct and I had to find ones the correct size) I do not know if they offer the light housing itself. will look into it and get back with you. Kieth

We changed the lenses form yellow to clear and here are a series of 7 pictures that show what they look like. I think one could find these lights housing and all at Kennys Truck parts in Tulsa, Ok 918-918-827-2600 I bought a chrome gmc grill and other misc parts for my truck there.

The ones on mine looked to be galvanized they were not very shiney after polishing them witch didn't help much I painted them with chrome paint. The lenses rivet on but be careful not to break the lens don't ask. Mine being 65 are amber. I can post a few pic's of it but I will have to do it tomorrow...Vernski

I went with the clear ones because they have a chrome ring around them and my truck needs all the chrome it can get since it is so plain. Kieth

I like the looks of the clear ones w/trim I just went with what I had, you could put a amber 1157 led in the clear though. You may be right about the cops where you live but around here I had one quiz me about my blue dot taillights so some do pay attention to pickups here...Vernski

Yeah I know the lenses were riveted originally,I drilled the holes on the lenses for a 4-40 screw to pass thru then threaded the housing w/ a 4-40 tap worked great. Alleviated the risk of cracking or breaking my new lenses because of incorrect rivet size.Anyways thats the idea I was trying to convey forward that the lense and bezel are molded as one, bezel being the trim part of lense. Oh if you do try this method when drilling lense hole out ease into it not to allow drill to grab or you will ruin your lense.

Re: turn signal bezels gmc

i just did this on my truck a couple weeks ago, used the clear ones ... i used the supplied rivets by drilling out the original holes to match and used a hammer and punch to apply the rivets. then just popped them back in place (gently). i got mine at a local truck resto shop, need to get clear for the rear now
