Radiator overflo tube

Two openings on one end. Does it matter if the open ends are at the top or bottom?

The openings go to the bottom and the hoses from the radiator goes on the shortest tube in the overflow, that way the water fills up the overflow then comes out the tube closest to the top...

Re: Radiator overflo tube

Wow, the top screws off! No way to know that without directions. I know it's a simple operation but looking at the top on this thing you would never guess it would unscrew.
Thanks for the help, otherwise it would have been a 50/50 deal as to what tubes I used.
