Stake pocket woodies
Anyone ever do this (or have pictures?) im considering it, I kinda like the look
Didnt find any pix of 67-72s with the stake pocket things, just other models.. Thanks!

sorry no// pretty similar to the one you pictured except longbed trucks for me/ mine weren't pretty but used for work and tying things down to keep the large loads in the bed

For show,I think they look better stepped down.Make sure to use stainless hardware and a good finish.

Teak would be a good wood to use, since it is used for the decks of ships.

We've got the woodshop as well, teak would be very nice but too rich for my blood especially for my truck lol

After looking at your truck the red of the African Padauk wood, would look nice, however hard maple coated with spar var would look nice as well and a lot less expensive.
