front control arms the same on a 1500 /2500?

Ok here is the deal.. i got some of those fancy lift keys for my 4x4... and it raised the front of the truck about 2 inches and then the front control arms are hitting the bump stops..

Soo i heard a rumor that the 2500 series truck have a lil more clearance in the front suspension because the upper control arms are different or something...

I need about another inch or two of bump stop clearence so that the truck will ride a lil better over pot holes and just basic bumps...

Sooo if anyone has a lot of knowledge of the front suspensions, and how i can get a lil better ride quality out of my 1500 4x4, that would be effin sweet!

Its a 93 if that matters at all...

Thanks in advance for all the helpski..
