front hub assembly removal on 2000 ZR2

I need some ideas on an issue I am having with my 2000 Chevy S10 ZR2. I am replacing the upper and lower ball joints because they are bad. The upper ball joint went fine but now I am having issues with the lower ball joint. I have it all down to the hub assembly and have the bolts removed from it. Now I have pried on it for I don't know how long and it won't budge. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to remove it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

big hammer we had to knock ours out on our 03 zr2, when you get it out get a wire brush and clean where it slides in

you don't have to remove it to do ball joints. just the axle nut and tap/tap the axle from hub while lifting knuckle assy. up at an angle from lower ball joint.

I finally got the hub removed. It took a heavy hammer and some pb blaster to get it done. Then I switched to the other side and the hub pulled right out.
