A Real Nice Truck! (Pics)
A buddy of mine came by today with his truck. This is a real nice truck, 468 BB. I put the motor in it a couple of years ago. He just got it back from another guy who put a roller cam in it. The A/C was not sitting right so I made a brkt. and straightened it all up for him. Took some pics and a good time hanging out. Oh I'm the good lookin one on the right.

Re: A Real Nice Truck! (Pics)
Someone else can help better with this than I can, I always forget. That one on my buddy's black truck is a 90 Suburban I think. The Blazers(full size) and Burbs from 88-91 I believe. I'm pretty sure you have to use the whole front clip, or at least the core support. I hope some others that have swapped these out more than once can help, but it's not hard to do.

Re: A Real Nice Truck! (Pics)
you are correct rwhit57
Just to add, I believe the years are 89-91 blazers and suburbans for that grille. If you can grab everything included on the core support off a blazer or suburban it will make it easier. If you have to piece it together, you'll need the core support, grille and lights, healight harness, and bumper filler panel to make it work... |

The Billet part of the grill is a manual labor add on. The stock grill comes with sort of an egg crate look and you'll have to cut out above and below the bowtie and install the billet bars with screws. I have the kit, but not sure whether to install it or not. It does look very nice on that black SWB though.

Re: A Real Nice Truck! (Pics)
Thanks for the compliments guys and thanks to BabyBlue for mentioning the grille insert, that is an aftermarket billet insert on the black truck.
