Can anyone tell me what all is needed to swap my 78 Scottsdale from warning lights to gauges? Links would be killer too if possible. Thanks.

For starters a gauge cluster and oil/temp sending units. I read somewhere after that its plug and play but can't confirm that.

This thread has a lot of good info if you want to re-pin your stock harness. Seems easier to me than swapping harnesses behind the dash. Hope this helps!

I did this conversion on my 80, I re-pinned the connector.

I figured the cluster and senders!

I guess my biggest question was the wiring harness under the dash. Looking for a pinout of the light cluster plug and the gauge cluster plug to campare. Sorry I wasnt more specific.

I have a wiring diagram from my '79 I think I may be able to scan for you. Worst case, they are really cheap (around $10) on ebay. That's where I got mine, and it saved my rear.

There's an excellent pinout sheet with a connector picture posted by another member. I'll post the thread if I can find it.
