secondaries wont open
hey guys im running a mechanical linkage holley double pumper on the stroker and i discovered yesterday my secondaries arent opening? anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? thankyou

If it's mechanical it's probably linkage-related. Are you running the stock throttle cable for the Quadrajet? If so, move the throttle bracket back toward the firewall so the cable will pull the throttle arm back further. I'm guessing your gas pedal sits too low, too? It's a common problem on trucks with aftermarket carburetors.

i had to run an aftermarket throttle cable since mine was to short

90Do the secondaries open when you operate the primary throttle shaft manually with your hand ? ....smooth with no restrictions ? Look down into the carb with a flash light and make sure all the plates are pointing straight up (90 degrees) at WOT.
