SPID questions

I was just looking at my SPID and noticed something I'm not sure about.

It's a 72 4x4 CST with Highlander interior and has 2 full rows of options filled up on the SPID.

One in particular says "Special Promotional"

Anyone know that that is?

Re: SPID questions

Thanks Viking.

I knew the blazer had the group 3 Highlander package with cloth inserts, woodgrain, AC etc....I just never noticed it was referred to on the SPID as Special Promotional?

I would have thought they would just put "Highlander" on the SPID.

Re: SPID questions

I had a pic of the SPID up here before, I'll see if I saved it. It has 2 full columns of options.
Some of which I didn't put much faith in because there is a major screw up on my spid which had been discussed before.
The color call out on mine is medium olive, which I believe is a green color.
My blazer however is an original orange blazer with alot of it's factory original paint intact. And yes it's the original glove box door and sticker, the serial number matches the truck. Just a typo at the factory for what ever reason.
Even the highlander seats were white vinyl with orange cloth inserts to go with the factory white top and orange paint. It was bought new in the family this way.

As far as rare I don't really know. Never checked into it. I've used it as my daily driver for years, it's the family hauler, so I hope it doesn't turn into another rare car. I have those already and they don't get driven much. If the blazer turned into another one of those my wife would have a fit

I like the blazer as a dialy driver because it does all things well. Geat gas mileage, 4x4 for the occasional snow in AZ and AC for those hot days, plenty of passenger room, and it even tows small trailers. Okay, ramble over, don't get me started
