Vintage Air a/c New in the Box

Vintage Air has the condenser, compressor, ect... for a complete hook up. Only thing it doesn't come with is the controller. V/A gives you the option to use original style controller or digital style controller. This cab was an original a/c cab and the original controller was going to be reused.

Any other questions just let me know. Thanks,

link for more photos. Start on page 9 and work back.

Cost $1100 new. I'm asking $600 obo.

Do you have a part number for the system? How long ago did you buy it?

I'm interested, but only if Mahanian passes. Curious to see the answers to his questions and I have to ask why you're selling it?

Re: Vintage Air a/c New in the Box

I may have this sold locally. I didn't realize it would cause this much stir. I will know from this guy on Friday. If he falls through I will let you all know, starting with 'mahanian' because he is the first one that posted.
To answer some questions from this post...

The part number is 75067-lcz-a. It was purchased years ago for the '72 shorty 'shaved cab' truck that I listed yesterday on "trucks for sale". The project went in another direction so thats the reason the extra parts are being sold.
The mounts are for a small block. The part number when looked up online now shows this to be only a partial package. This is the "sure fit" and comes complete with condenser, compressor, brackets, fan box, hoses, vents, and smooth firewall plate. The only thing this lacks is the controller, which you can buy a controller from V/A... original style, or digital style. Your preference.
Any other questions let me know. Check out the '72 shorty I have listed as well.

Is it wrong to sell to a local market? If so I'll delete it from here.

It yours you can do what ever you want with it. But I think Mahanian wants it and you now tell him its not for sale???? Please don't take this the wrong way because it is yours. Nuff said

Re: Vintage Air a/c New in the Box

its nice if you note that the part is for sale locally in the original post to avoid confusion and hard feelings.

Re: Vintage Air a/c New in the Box

Another point....

The term "I'll take" has priority over "I'm interested" statements. This is to keep things simple and less confusing but...it's not my add. Just trying to be helpful in the selling arena. Best of luck with your sale.

Re: Vintage Air a/c New in the Box

I think a legitimate question before someone purchases a 600 dollar item is appropriate. Or maybe they should just say I'll take and find out later it doesn't fit and re-neg on the deal. I do see all sides of this though.

I agree. Especially in this economy. $600 buys a lot of beans and biscuits.
