would you guys be intrested in...
Im thinking of doing some custom interior parts for our trucks and supplying them on the site as a supporting member, I want to gauge intrest in these items before making an investment in making a bunch of parts to sit around
so heres the start off list I have yet to figure out pricing and such but here it is. 1: iroc camaro gauge conversions these will have many otions and form to fit you such as aftermarket oil temp and bat gauges along with a 145mph camaro speedo and a tach/oil or fuel gauge with whiteface gauge decals pre-applied as an option and additional custom colors available at additional cost this will also have a core trade in option as well since this is a complete gauge asembly im also thinking of adding led strip lights as well depending on cost 2: clock knobs that get lost, hand made by me on my lathe 3: door lock knobs, variants so far are hand lathed pistons and 30-06 bullets 4: valve cover hold downs also in bullet and invert bullet and piston design 5: custom upholstered headliner, seude/cloth/vinyl/leather 6: keychains: pistons? if you have ideas or comments let me know! I have two lathes and a small mill to work with

Re: would you guys be intrested in...
What i would be interested in is a place where i could put gauges without drilling---and not in the stock places either because i want to keep those.
So, in other words, a module that could somehow be attached to the dash(or by some other means? I.e., bolt-in center console?) that i could put gauges in. Examples of stuff that doesn't really work for me: 1) the a pillar gauge cluster things would be nice, but i, with my custom deluxe, DO NOT actually have holes drilled in the a pillars. Yes, that's right---some of us do not have holes drilled in where others do---Silverado/cheyenne etc. (for example). 2) The overhead/visor shelf sold by, (i think?)LMC, looks like a good place where i could put gauges, but again since i have no holes in my A pillars, where/how am i going to route the wires? i don't like using duct tape or velcro for that purpose...... |

Re: would you guys be intrested in...
not doing a full blown shop but a low key custom garage is what im running its going to be a while before im in full swing with things in stock but i have to start and get a basline for items and shipping before i put out prices and such.
meter swinger i have yet to try my hand in dashpads and door panels but i do beleive that a crewcab headlinner shouldnt be out of line since our headliner boards are just under a yard wide but im glad to see some interest. right now im trying to prototype some gauges for the 73 up guys cause i dont want to leave them out either

I'd also like to see what you come out with for standard cab headliners.

Re: would you guys be intrested in...
you say you have a lathe.
id definately be interested in some knobs, just about all the knobs in the cab. especially if you could do a special request on a simple but different design? as in if i got a pic of like a certain bullet or certain shape?IDK if that makes clear sense? that guage cluster also looks pretty cool, especially if you integrate the led lighting in it.id definately consider it. im interested in almost any custom interior items. ill keep an eye on this thread and your others for info on all this.

the would prob be grafted in with fiberglass end epoxy then painted to match interior, wonder what would be more popular a single pod or triple pod or just duals?

Re: would you guys be intrested in...
I am a 77 guy but would be very interested in an A pillar pod. A tripple one for me. But I ma sure alot of people would want a single pod for like a small tach or just and AF gauge.
