What to do-What to do?
I recently refurbished my deluxe heater, new blower motor, resistor, heater switch. I tell you that thing deluxe kicks now! The airflow is greatly improved, I will be warm this winter.
Now here is my what to do. It seems that the new heater switch is incorrect, defective or my lever is wrong. My blower stays on when I turn it on. The lever is maxed out in the OFF position, but the switch stays on. I removed the unit and had the switch out so I can manually operate it. I was able to run the full cycle from on to off and the blower motor powered down. So this leaves me to pin point the problem to where the switch is connected to the heater control lever. I need some advice,As should I contact the company that sold me the switch? or do something to the lever to make the switch turn OFF the blower motor? |

Re: What to do-What to do?
I think you have the wires to the switch backwards. Do you have a wiring diagram? It might be a ground side switch.

It is like I explained in the first write up, Everything works, but the lever does not go up enough to click the switch off. So, I do not know if the switch is the problem or the aftermarket lever. Both items are NEW. I can slove the problem, but I should not have to fab anything up to correct the problem. Has anyone in the community experience this problem? |

Re: What to do-What to do?
All fixed!!!
I should have not had to do this. I relocated the switch mounting holes, just moved the switch forward a little bit. This allows the lever to completely close the switches range. All done with just a little lesson. Not all parts fit just right! |
