Cab width pinch weld to pinch weld?

Does anyone have the width of a 67-72 truck cab from the rocker pinch weld to rocker pinch weld? I found that the cab is 6' 6" wide, so assuming the width would be around 5' 10" or so???? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Cab width pinch weld to pinch weld?

If your cab is on the frame....measure from the pinch weld, to the outside of the rail(both sides)....take those figures, & add 34" for the width of the rails. That should get you within a fraction of an inch crazyL

Re: Cab width pinch weld to pinch weld?

I was at work when I posted it. Measured it this weekend and believe it was 6' on the dot. Read another post that said the cab was 6' 6" and the rocker measured 2.75" - 3".
