NY area dealers
One of my friends is looking for a dealer in the NY, CT, NJ, PA area that stocks rear fenders for a 72 step side bed. He actually wants to go to the dealer and pick up the set of fenders himself. Are there any good dealers in this area ? Thanks !

Re: NY area dealers
i doubt you'd find a dealer with a set of 39 year old fenders in stock.

Re: NY area dealers
Sorry. I should have made this a little more specific. My friend wants to buy a new set of reproduction step side fenders. Not NOS.

I'm not sure of anyone who "deals" in these truck parts in the N/E. Tri-Pro/Key Parts was in Plainfield,NJ but moved to Lynchburg,VA. If you have a Keystone distibutor in that area they could get you the fenders w/o shipping charges.

Re: NY area dealers
Thats where my friend bought the rest of the parts for his bed. He drove down to Plainfield on a Sat morning and was back home by noon. He picked up a few parts for the cab at the same time so he didnt have the room for the 2 fenders. Now he calls the guy back and he finds out they moved to VA and they no longer sell retail. So hes looking to find a local dealer. He doesnt want to buy a set and have them get to his house dented up from shipping.

Re: NY area dealers
Well,I don't mean to cut anyone else out if there's anyone between, but Bill Athey is in Front Royal,VA. It would be a nice weekend trip to the Shannendoah Valley. He's open on Saturdays. I don't know what part of NY you're in,but if you can get on I-81 he's not too hard to get to. Not too bad from I-95,either. I understand the concern about shipping damage. It costs to come so far,but the money saved on shipping contributes to that expense.
