Air Tank Location
I am building a 72 blazer. where is the best place to mount the tank that is out of sight. Pics would be great.

I assume you are talking about the air tanks....3 or 5 gallon?
I have 2 - 3 gallon tanks.. Here is where I mounted mine. Not a blazer but should work

Yes the that is what i was talking about. the problem is the blazer has a rocker box that goes from the fire wall to the rear wheel tub. A truck does not have them.

On the very rear of the truck right behind the passenger's rear wheel is where I mounted a three gallon. My compressor and valves are in the middle between the frame rails and just behind the gas tank.

You can also mount them on the inside of the frame rail by partially boxing the frame for your mounts.

Also Funky.... I notice where you have your one pressure sensor heading uphill... great job putting it there but make sure you can service that thing with the body on

Funky, where is your air tank drain ?? looks like you have the 2 end plugs are on the top instead of the bottom to facilitate draining the water from the air tank ?? Kieth

I have a '72 4x4 blazer and it looks like the only place I could fit a viair 2.5gal tank is either above the pumpkin, or where the floor bumps up, or in the engine compartment. I've seen two other blazers put little tanks in the very back of the body where your exhaust would normally exit.

could you guys mount it behind the gas tank, and before the tailgate area? thats where my 5 gallon is..not sure if suburban and blazer are different in that area.
