LMC is the way to go for windshield gaskets
Cracked the glass in my 85 so I bought a new gasket with the chrome bead from LMC, and had my budd who works at safelite get me some glass for $115.00. Well we put it all in today and man the quality of the gasket and the fitment was awesome. Looks awesome as you can tell.
Just wanted to relay this bit of info. new gasket in Glass in

You must have got lucky. LMC was the junkiest gasket my windshield shop said he had ever seen. It was too long, and too soft and tore.

As soon as I saw the LMC box he came over with I told him to send it back....he wanted to try it. Its on its way back now! If the truck is parked outside or gets driven in the sunlight, I would be interested in your thoughts and some updated pictures in a year.

Re: LMC is the way to go for windshield gaskets
Sorry you two have had such bad luck. As you can tell in the first pic, the gasket fit perfect. Can't say enough about it.
I also ordered a new rear view mirror, a rear step bumper with lights, and the wiring kit for the bumper, all of which were superb quality. Great quality wiring kit and the instructions made it super easy to install. Almost forgot, my new front bumper came from them too. Real nice as well.

Re: LMC is the way to go for windshield gaskets
Looks good, I need to do that as my gasket is drying up and the chrome part is yellowing.
To the others who had bad luck with LMC, who do you recommend for this part?

Re: LMC is the way to go for windshield gaskets
I don't generally knock the competition but maybe LMC finally got the message and changed their rubber supplier None of them ever fit correct. They do sell some quality products but the gaskets used to be total waste of money. I hope they did change
