Keep the camper and have a stand-out Blazer. Those campers are just too dang cool! I always wanted one. They never sold them back east.

^ I agree^^ with special-K
The camper would just make an outstanding addition to the Blazer when built. You're not likely to run into another at a show or cruise night.

I think that thing is butt ugly. Makes that Blazer look like a dwarf Winnebago. Sell it and buy a tent!

Re: 1970 blazer pop up camper

Removable is the key word here. That's the beauty of a Blazer. You can go from hard top to convertible to soft top to camper.

That thing is awesome! How does the camper attach? Is the roof of the cab part of the camper?

Keep it! Got pic's of one on a square body. Never seen one on one of 'our' trucks. You'll never find another one. Walk through deal is unique in this size rig. The camper looks in pretty good shape. A great 4X4 camper.

The camper looks like it just bolts on like the top. The roof is not attach to the camper just bolts on.

Re: 1970 blazer pop up camper

i think its cool, I have no idea what they're worth but I would keep it if I had room. Blazer is nice, I think you should put a '68 front clip on it. I like your other trucks too, nice herd.

Re: 1970 blazer pop up camper

What a find, I didn't think I'd ever see one again. Its an aluminum framed pop up camper that replaces the stock top. Four Wheel campers made these for most of the utility vehicles of the day including the Blazer/Jimmy, Broncos of all sizes, and IH Scouts as well. In addition a line of truck campers and even a class c were offered. They are still alive and well building and repairing campers in northern California. Their web site has some links to older service manuals, appliances and key codes. Pictures too.

I'd keep it but if you do decide to sell it the factory would be the place to start. Or I can PM my address if you want to donate it to a good home.

Hey, I asked first!
But then, being a little short of funds I'd have to defer to a cash sale.
Unless of course there are to be Huskies in your future. LOL
Still I'm willing to provide a good, dry desert home. Just would have to put the dogs in a trailer! Here is the current chorus line of girls.
