Inner Rockers

Need advice on installing my inner rockers.. is this how they are supposed to go?

Are the inner rockers long enough to bolt up the the pillar posts? I have always tried bolting them onto the pillar posts.

Looks right to me. Your outer rocker will sit on that notched lip. Looks like you need a front pillar patch too. If you don't have one, they are cheap and available. Then you can bolt it at that location as Jim mentioned. Will be strong like bull.

Heres some shots from when I did mine. I didn't use the whole thing as the back end was still good so I cut it down a bit. In the first shot the end is bolted to the frame outrigger (cab support) , it was then plug welded to it and the bolts for the A post bolted through it.





new lower kick panel in place





new lower door pillar repair in place

Awesome! thanks lippyp..ill get to it this morning..So the new inner rocker has to match up w/ the holes on the cab support?
