C/10 dreaming ....or mix and match.

Yesterday I got a really good deal on some Intro's, so this morning I placed them next to my 72' Super to see how they would look, well one thing let to another, so I had to take photos of the other trucks to see how they would look next to them. How about some opinions? BTW- I think they look the best on semi retired "Gumby" (my 68') who is extremely filthy.

I vote for the 72. I'm a huge fan of stock appearing trucks dropped over big wheels

..honestly its something about our trucks that when you put some 20" plus wheels on, it just brings out all the trim and chrome more..IMO

67 or 72

I think gumby looks good the way it is but the suspension with those wheels will make it look the most custom since you can dump it.

If you got a good deal on the wheels, i would sell them and enjoy the profit. I think your trucks look good without the oversize wheels.

Cool Re: C/10 dreaming ....or mix and match.

I'm on the East coast so trends are little bit slow getting here and changing them is even slower so I would stick with what you have on all of them and sell the wheels.
All the trucks have the right look to me.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Andy, that's a excellent point you just brought up, it does take a while to get used to the changes, 6 years ago 20's did absolute nothing for me, I thought they where just to big and 17's where the way to go, Well later that year I bought a truck with 20's and replaced them with 17's, "lo and behold" it didn't have the same effect so I put the 20's back on, styles just change.

Thank for the input guys!

Cool Re: C/10 dreaming ....or mix and match.

I like the bigger wheels just think the trucks you own look just right like they are.
It took me awhile to like the 17" I put on my truck several years ago.
I had 15" ralleys on it forever it seemed and it took me weeks before I didn't wonder if I screwed up.
Then I went to the 20" all around and love them. Never looked back since!

I totally agree. The 67-72 era trucks have the best styling of any truck on the road, hands down. When you drop them you bring them to a new level.
