Looking for plastic model kit 1967 chevy truck

I know they used to make these. Do they still? I'm looking for one. Would like to make/build a replica of my truck.

The have only re-issued the '72 kit every so many years. There was a '67 kit made in '67 by AMT. You can look on Ebay. They show up from time to time.

Re: Looking for plastic model kit 1967 chevy truck

Yeah, the truck models go for big money. Really any complete model of a popular vehicle from back then does. You could buy a more common and cheaper re-issue of the '72 and buy a '67 front clip conversion from one of those resin casters. That'll get it to fairly expensive, though.

Re: Looking for plastic model kit 1967 chevy truck

Maybe I should just get me one of the cabela's or some other "special edition" 67 die-cast and paint it and fix it up into a version of my truck. Might be a lot easier and cheaper.

That's true. Wouldn't have to worry as much about it then, like some idiot falling on it and crushing it into a million perfectly painted peices!
