454 Nasty Spark Plug Question

Mid 70's 454 not running right. I put new plugs in and a week later I checked them to see how they looked and #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7 plugs were fine but #6 and #8 plugs were wet, black and oily. I did a compression test and cylinders #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7 all had around 110lbs but cylinder #6 had 90lbs and #8 had 120lbs. I'm thinking the valve seals are worn for one reason, after putting a quart of oil in she started smoking pretty bad but only lasted a minute so I'm assuming the oil leaked though the valve seals into #6 and #8 cylinders, makes since right, but why would #8 compression be higher than all the rest?

#6 and #8 spark plugs both looked this!
