torque spec tacular.

Good evening fellow trucksters, I'm putting my hubs back on my corp 14 rearend and Iwanted to confirm the torque spec on the axle nuts. 60lbs on the first one then back it off 1/4 turn and 100lbs on the second. Is this close? thanks a bunch.

The nuts that press up agains the bearings?



50-60ftlbs while truning the wheel

back off

then just finger tight is enough. pull and push on the drum or disk, u should have some VERY slight movment, not enough to see, only enough to feel. I go for the smallest detectable amount of movemet AFTER u have torqued the lock nut. May take a few tries to get it perfect.

Then the lock nut gets torqued, cant remember off hand but somewhere 50+ftlbs.
