Ok so I've got a 73 c-10 3 on the column, it's got disc brakes but id like to add power disc.... do I just bolt on a booster? Id also like to convert to auto on the column, I was thinkin about finding a donor and swap everything over.... what's my choices on candidates for a one stop shop? It's gonna be a cruiser and 3 on the column .... well when it gets bad its just a pia

my 73 has a factory booster behind the master.. everything else looks standard.. btw auto is not 3 on the column.. the old 3 on the tree is what we have now.. major old school

My 74 was a 3 on the tree and the po moved it to the floor.

The power brake thing, you need a power brake pedal assembly and a booster from a power brake truck.

I would find a complete donor truck with the stuff you need.

I know I will need radiator,trans cooler lines, brake booster/master cyl..... inside I will need an automatic steering column, the entire brake pedal assembly ...... I guess I need to be specific when I ask a question here....... does it really matter what year donor I should shop for.... would a sub be out of the question as far as donors? As far as bolt on goes.... what am I limited to.....? Thanks y'all

@John P....... I know what 3 on the tree is, but I thought the ferd guys coined that one.... 3 on the column means there's a clutch pedal down there.....
