Question about fedex delivery - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Bought a part from a board member here and payment was sent and recieved.
Part was shipped by fedex, when i recieved the tracking #, it showed all the diferent scans in shipment, but they delivered it somewhere besides here to me. I've never run into this before, can someone tell me how to go about finding my part?

Call FedEx (1-800-GOFEDEX) with the tracking number & tell them your story.

They usually contact the driver about where they delivered it & get back to you.

Good luck, I had a very simular thing happen to me from Fedex Ground.........After that experience.....I would ship by carrier pigeon before them.

Call that number and keep calling daily!

THey can find it for you. It really does not matter which company you ship with. All of them do good and all do bad at times. Alot is where your located. Many of our customers tell us which one they prefer and we do what we can to please them. Sometimes its not possible. Most of the time their is no problem but sometimes they really mess up. We have had them pay for the shipping and the shipment also when they mess up big time. We refund the cost to the buyer when that happens. They are not all bad. Sometimes they have the wrong address on the computer and ignore whats on the label. I have had UPS send stuff back 3 times saying that I had moved when I never had. Wrong address. The tracking shows the correct info but it went to someone elses for some reason. Took close to 2 months to get it straight.

Kept calling go fedex and after the third person, they found it and delivered
this afternoon. Seems it went out for delivery and the driver brought it back to the terminal as denied/no one home. My address is a business in an industrial park and some one is here all day. guess it was time for him to go home.
Anyway thanks for the tip on Go Fedex, it worked.

Hey you can see the problems we have every day being a vendor.

I to am glad it worked out. Remember they are humans. but i don't want to start on that

Had that happen too. Driver didn't think he could get the truck up the drive. They haven't pulled that trick again after I let them know UPS trucks have no problem.
