Change

The engine is finally built in the truck after 4500 and i never thought a big metal sled would move this fast its currently 4x4 with the one an only dump truck granny 4 speed and i want to know your thoughts on putting a 2wd frame under the body and a m22 muncie behind the motor. By the way a new truck isnt an option this was my first truck and ill never get rid of it i just wouldnt mind it a little lower

Re: Change

You could do that, but I'd advise re-thinking losing 4x4 capabilities. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. If you want it to sit lower, you could get de-arched springs or something. As for the tranny, see if you can find a divorced transfer case setup from a Dodge (to keep the passenger side drop so you don't have to swap front axles), you can run the muncie transmission and keep 4-wheel drive.
