I am looking to see if anyone knows how thick of an adapter I need to convert my SRW 3/4 ton to DRW on the rear.?? I am using a dually bed also.

Well, there's 4 1/2" difference between the two (67.5" vs 72"), I'd guess a 2" adapter would work fine, you'll never notice the 1/4" per side difference.

Try ebay, there are a few different sellers with all thicknesses.

Off topic - does anyone know where I can get wide dually wheels? I need some 16x10's for my project.

Anybody run the aluminum spacers? Do they hold up ok?

The aluminum one are alot cheaper than the steel ones. Arrowcraft wants $415 for the rear ones.

Anyone have the aluminum versions????

I'm not sure I would trust the aluminum style over the billet steel setup. This is the one place you do not want to have a parts failure. If the discount style breaks or comes apart , both wheels come off.

The eBay cheap one look like a great deal, but too much risk for me.

http://wheeladapter.com/ there is no place better for wheel adapters. These things are awesome quality, (i have a set myself) and they have awesome service. Fred, will most likely personally call you to confirm your order and ask any questions to make sure he machines them to your correct specs.

Not quite sure what this pictures is showing, ALL Dually conversion I have done the adapter mounts on the Rear end hub FIRST , then both wheels go one.

This lower pictures is showing the Dually adapter being used as a spacer between the rims? WTF?

You'd put the spacer between the rims to fit wider tires on there so they don't touch.

you could put that spacer on the inside to move bothy wheel's out to where you want, But I would look into a Dually rear end befor I went with spacer's.
what are your plan's for the truck ? hual'n, low'rd or 4X4.

Yes I realize that , but this thread had a link to ( www.arrowcraft.com) which is a company that converts single rear wheel trucks 3/4 and 1 ton to Duallys, their spacers allow dually wheels to be used on the shorter rear end housing, which means the spacers go on BEFORE the wheels.
