Do you use gauges for your bags?

After some searching I dont find a lot of info with people using gauges to monitor bag pressure. Am I missing something? Or are they really not necessary?

It depends.... Some guys get a 'feel' for where they want the height & go by that. Others might have a CPU type set-up (AccuAir, RideTechs E3) that controls height via sensors that provide feedback for adjustments. The 1st method is as accurate as it sounds; the 2nd should be very repeatable.

Somewhere in between are the guys that want height 'consistency' w/o the expense of the high-end set-ups & utilize pressure gauges to monitor. While still not exact (add or subtract weight to the vehicle & it might take more/less air psi to achieve the same height), it's going to be closer than the WAG.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Do you use gauges for your bags?

All my friends who have air bags do use gauges,Most have a gauge on the tank then a dual needle for the front and back pressure or dual dual needles for all 4 bags.It comes down to budget and do you want something to play with or set a ride height and enjoy the smooth lowered height.

I always use gauges. A pair of dual needles fits nicely in the stock ash tray location. Just flip it down to see the gauges or flip it up to hide them
