Needs help figuring out this truck

I am restoring a 1986 k10 silverado. Its just about to get painted. I found a truck that looks just like i want mine to look. But my problem is im not sure what size lift and tires he has on it. For you that have alot of experience with lifting these truck you may have a real good guess about what size lift and what size tires he is running. That's really all i want, is some guesses as to what size lift you think he put on the truck and what size tires hes running. The truck looks exactly the hieght i want mine to ride at and the tires look like they fit the lift great. The truck does not have any info. on it. All i have is a picture. Im guessing maybe a 4'' suspension lift with 35'' tires, but i have no expierence with lifting these trucks. So here is the site to the truck, and thanks for any guesses. http://www.remarkablecars.com/main/c...rolet-005.html

Looks like 3-4" of lift and 33x12.50's to me.

Re: Needs help figuring out this truck

I'm going to guess 4 inch suspension lift with 35/12.50s, only because I know the Dunlops run small. If it were a 33 it would look like-and measure-about 31. Those wheels must be 12 inches wide, which looks totally retarded to me. You can run a 12.50 tire on 8 inch rims, they look a little taller and skinnier, a 10 inch rim looks pretty deep dish and spread the tire nicely. 12 inch or wider just stretches the bead and sidewall out so far it looks unsafe, and silly. And gets you out there into needing fender flares to be street legal.
Other than that, I must say that is one beautiful truck and I love that color combination. Perfect color scheme.

Here is a 6 inch with 33s for reference. I think that truck has 33s with a 4 inch and 10 inch wide wheels.

Re: Needs help figuring out this truck

It has 12" wide wheels, throws things off. But 4" lift and 33s.

Re: Needs help figuring out this truck

Yea its hard to tell cause there ain't nothing to reference it to. All the pictures I have seen didn't have a person or something I knew the hieght of so I could tell. But I'm 6'0 tall. I am not sure if a 6" with 35's or 38''s would make so tall as to where i would have to put steps on to get in. Im fine with a little hop to get in the seat and maybe a tug on the steering wheel but I don't want to have to climb up and in. I wish I could find some pictures that had some thing as a reference in them...but thank ya for talks guesses . I maybe leaning towards a 4" and 35"s
