Buying new drop shocks...need a little help!

Hello everybody I am getting ready to buy shocks for my newly dropped 69 GMC stepper. Ok here is what I have in front I have 3" dropped springs with 2 1/2 dropped spindles on the front I measured the front shock brackets and have roughly 11" between mounting holes. On the back I have leaf springs with a 5" flip kit plus 2" lowering shackles and I have again roughly 12" between shock mounting brackets. In the front it is all stock mounting brackets do I need relocation brackets for the front? In the back I moved the stock brackets back about 3 inches so the shock would not be at a angle that would not work all the travel of the shock does the angle look like it will be alright? Enough angle or still to much slant?. You can see the mounting hole on the left side of the bracket in the bottom of frame from where I moved it back. I hope you understand? (see picture). I think that I need to get a front shock for a 3" lower spring from factory as the drop spindle would not affect the shock length...right? As for the rear I don't know after I moved the bracket any suggestions? Where is the best place to buy these shocks? I am sure some of the vendors should have the shocks that I need I guess I need to start there but I don't know who to use or who is the best. If some one could post a company who is real good with shocks and a contact number I would be very grateful. Thanks Robert the newbie.

Re: Buying new drop shocks...need a little help!

you need relocating brackets for the rear. I used classic preformance products. they offer a shock kit for your setup and it takes the guess work out. ece and magautys probably do also as well as preformance online.
