CPP again....I'll never learn ;)
It's really a shame their customer service and shipping is HORRIBLE because I've been very happy with their products and prices... which is why I keep going back for more punishment....
Here's my current saga.... Won one of the reproduction floor tilt columns off CPP's ebay store back at the end of August. I got this column for 274 shipped....try finding a powdercoated rebuilt floor shift tilt column for less than 500.... It arrived within about 10 days but was : 1) missing the wiring adapter 2) Damaged (before it was shipped)-there was a chip in the powder and scratches all over it in the powder. With the awesome packaging they used there is no way it was damaged in shipping. I emailed them and they asked for pictures which I supplied. Asked for a new one or a small discount and I would keep this one. They sent a call tag and said they would send a new one. I send it back and FINALLY today received the box..... ....WITH THE OLD DAMAGED ONE IN IT JUST HOW I REPACKED IT Still missing the wiring adapter and still the same damaged column. Now I've been dealing with this for two months. Sent off an email today to see what the next step in this saga will be...I'll keep you all updated. What a joke CPP's customer disservice is....

That's too bad, I won a chrome one and it was perfect when I got it. I wish you had had my luck instead.

Would've loved to see your reaction when you opened up the box and saw the same one again...

Re: CPP again....I'll never learn ;)
Why does an outfit that spends so much on advertising pizz it all away on poor customer service? Dumb.

Still no shipping info on a new column and no call tag for this one as of today...might be because I went ahead and left negative feedback on ebay

Re: CPP again....I'll never learn ;)
update...when getting jeff's email to send I got an email from CPP showing they had shipped a new column with a return tag in the box...which is what I asked them to do since the first time I sent mine back then waited two weeks....to get mine back
I am looking forward to getting the new one and hope it's in good shape... Will update when I get it.

Re: CPP again....I'll never learn ;)
I need a few things from them, I finally saved up some extra coin. But these kind of threads keep me from pulling the trigger.

Save your coin and go elsewhere I ordered a bunch of stuff and am going through similar problems, I will not use them on any other builds ever again.

VA72C10 I'm feeling you pain. I bought a column drop and fire wall mount from them off ebay on 12/10 and I still have not gotten the item yet

Re: CPP again....I'll never learn ;)
they sent me a new Return form Thursday....so I once again get to send the column in and have nothing here and wait for them to send one back....we'll see if they send the same one again. I'm going to write a note inside and on the package to hopefully avoid this scenario....

Re: CPP again....I'll never learn ;)
What about finding a board member that lives near where they are located, then he could take it in to them and get the replacement same day...just wondering
