Re: opinions wanted

I like alot of different two tone colors but IMO when the main color is the darker of the two covering most of the truck and the lighter color trims it out. If you know what I mean.

By far my favorite paint scheme:

Can't beat the look of that white and blue scheme.

Re: opinions wanted

I really like the tan(buckskin) and brown combo. If I hadn't wanted a black truck, I would have kept mine the two tone buckskin and brown.

I think some of you may have missed this important criteria. Bob can I assume your planning on keep the stock trim to break the colors?

Re: opinions wanted

I saw a gloss black/flat black combo that looked cool. Dark gray metallic and a light gray-almost silver are also a cool combo. If you could put an orange/silver stripe between them or an orange stripe in the chrome molding, that would be cool as well.
When it all comes down to it, though, I'm quite partial to this one:

Re: opinions wanted

I really like the 73-80 trucks with their original trim and the dark hawaiian blue with the light blue in the middle and top of cab. I also like the camel/buckskin trucks as well.

Re: opinions wanted

actually all the trim has been removed from the truck and on the cab at least the holes have been filled (if any was there to begin with) im getting ready to put it into the body shop in a couple of weeks.. I am just at a loss as to what i want to do with it.. my example was the first thought... the truck was originally grey with red along the bottom body .. but im leaning against any red on the truck.. Currently she has more colors that one could shake a stick at as i have alot of used body panels on there,,
If it was a 4wd truck i was even thinking of doing dark green metallic on top and like a camo along the bottom and perhaps on the hood scoop..
If the weather clears tomorrow i will post some pics of the truck as she sits now

Re: opinions wanted

Not going to pick a favorite color combo, but I think it looks pretty sharp when the roof color matches the secondary(??) color (the color that would be in the center of the body panels).

Re: opinions wanted

My (79) CCSWB project truck will either be a blue/white or a gold/white combo. White only down the center only. I had a 79 c20 Suburan that was blue/white.

My favorite one too. Granddad had a blue and white when I was a kid.
