I am almost complete in my am/fm install for my '68 burb but what size in line fuse should I be using? I keep blowing my 2 amp (previous owner installed) once I mounted it in the truck, must have a short but am curious as to what size fuse I should be using???

Re: what size to use

Nobody runs an original am/fm??? I looked in an owners manual and it says a 3 amp fuse so would that work on a few year newer (72 as opposed to a 68) radio?

Re: what size to use

I have a 5 amp fuse in my 66. I don't know if that is the correct size but it works.
