LS1 Install.....

Well I have finally got around to installing my LS1 in the Blazer.....just waiting on a few more parts to arrive, and get this thing started.

Those relocation brackets come from Kwik Performance out of Springfield, MO. That's where I got mine anyway and that looks like the same kit. It runs about ~$200

looks great! what kinda tranny did you put in? I have the 4L60E in with the 5.3L install on mine and it will only shift from 1st to 2nd. did you have any problems?

That sure does look good in there. Question for you though, how is the spark/timing controlled on this engine? It looks like there are coil packs but I can't see a place for a distributor.

Well now that my car show is over, time to get back on the blazer.....it is running now just finishing up a few minor details and get it all cleaned up then time to hit the road again.

Thanks!!, I used MSD fuel pump and Corvette style regulator from Speedway Motors.
